This weekend is going to be good. Tonight is Lost. Tomorrow night is Matchbox Twenty. And on Saturday I get to hang out with Andrea all day! It doesn't get much better than that.
Adding to my good mood - today I put up shelves for all my soaping supplies in the kitchen, and it is going to make my life so much easier to have all the ingredients in one organized place. Now I just need to get Eric to bring my Columbus Foods delivery upstairs (50 lbs each of coconut oil, palm oil, and palm kernel flakes, plus 10 lbs of mango butter, shea butter and castor oil) and I can get soaping!

Chelsea, how did I miss that you have a blog??? This whole time (well, 2 weeks) that I've had mine, you've been commenting and I never commented on yours (becuase I didn't know you had one!) I feel like a loser. :( so sorry! I'll be a much better blog partner from now on.
ReplyDeleteHow did you get into soapmaking? I've been so curious...
ReplyDeleteOh, and by the way...it was SO fun to see your dad on Sunday (even if it was for only a moment). Did he stay over for bday weekend?
ReplyDeleteArianne, No worries! I'm glad you found me. :) I've been blogging since we started the whole IVF thing. It used to be an infertility blog, now it's about a whole bunch of other stuff too.
ReplyDeleteMarie, A few years ago I bought some handmade soap and loved it. I got curious about how it was made so I started reading about it. When I finally tried it myself I was instantly hooked.
My dad is in town about two weeks of every month, and he usually comes to church with us when he's here on a weekend. They're threatening to give him a calling. :) It was so funny when we were standing in the foyer and he said "I know that voice...is that Marie?!" He was tickled to see you working in Primary. We had a nice chat with Adam, it was so fun to see him and Emma (who is getting SO big!)
so, what is the name of your etsy shop??
ReplyDeleteTerina, It's growingseasonsoaps.etsy.com :)
